Studies on the Determination of Quinine Salts in Antipyretics and Analgesics Preparations by Fluorometry

Abstract
|
|
|
Salts of quinine have the fluorescence in H_(2)SO_(4)-acidic solution and at a 0.01 N-H_(2)SO_(4) solution the relative intensity of the fluorescence was proportional to the concetration of quinine.
The range of the measurable concentrations is 0.01~0.1??/㎖ of quinine in 0.01 N-H_(2)SO_(4) solution.
By this method a small amount of quinine salts in antipyretics and analgesics preparations can be determined in the presence of various compunds.
